After a smooth Day One (travel, Hertz heroics, and a fantastic round at Coeur d’Alene Public—if you missed that recap, check it out here), Day Two came in hot with a true marathon: 36 holes of Spokane golf.

Morning – Meadowwood Golf Course
The alarms went off early—8 AM tee time means no messing around. Coffee in hand, we rolled into Meadowwood Golf Course, and let me tell you: this place was a gem.
- Condition: Fairways and greens dialed in, everything crisp.
- Price: Honestly, the deal of the century for what you’re getting.
- Unique Factor: Their driving range has you hitting balls into a body of water. Pretty sure Topgolf stole the idea, but Meadowwood actually makes it feel natural.
The front nine? Solid. The back nine? Straight-up fantastic. The finishing hole? Chef’s kiss. If I had one nitpick, it’s their clubhouse. Let’s just say… functional. It exists. But hey, you don’t book a round here for the chicken tenders—you book it for the course.

Afternoon – Liberty Lake Golf Course
After wrapping up at Meadowwood, we grabbed food and made our way over to Liberty Lake for Round Two. Another Spokane special:
- Clubhouse: Also pretty “meh.” Spokane seems to have a thing for modest clubhouses.
- Golf: The course itself more than makes up for it. The layout keeps you on your toes, and for the price, you almost feel guilty—like you’re robbing them.
The Marathon Effect
Here’s the truth: 36 holes in one day sounds like a golfer’s dream… until you hit that last stretch. By the time Liberty Lake wrapped up, the group was fried. Physically? Dead. Mentally? Toast. But that’s part of the charm—you don’t fly up here to play just one round a day.

Evening – Poker & Recovery
Back at the house, dinner was low-key—nothing Instagram-worthy, just a solid meal to refuel. Then the real carnage began: $100 buy-in poker night. For some, it was “fun money.” For others… well, let’s just say their trips got more expensive real quick.
Day Two wrapped up with empty wallets, tired legs, and a unanimous agreement: Spokane golf is an absolute steal. Clubhouses aside, the value-to-quality ratio is off the charts.
Up next: Day Three, where the marathon continues (and the bets only get more interesting).
