Seattle skyline with Space Needle at sunset

Big Bootie Mix 26, Mariners Baseball & Three Nights in Seattle

After catching Big Bootie Mix 24 at The Forum in LA, my wife and I promised we’d chase the next show. New York almost happened (life said no), so when Seattle popped up we were in. Below is the working itinerary—steal what you like, skip what you don’t.

1. Where to Sleep (Without Sounding Like a Shill)

  • Booked: W Seattle – points math made sense; lobby bar is legit; zero “best stay ever” hyperbole.
  • Other solid downtown picks if the W is sold-out or overpriced:
  • Tip: Anything inside the downtown/Waterfront radius works. Queen Anne’s cute but too far for this schedule.
  •  I stayed at the Hotel 1000 on a previous trip, and it was pretty amazing. I love everything about staying there and have nothing but great things to say about it. So, why can’t I recommend it anymore? The price. Just like everything else that gains popularity, they priced me out. I just can’t justify their price tag when the other options around the downtown area aren’t far behind.

Because elevators are safer than Ubers at 1 a.m.

2. The Plan, Day-by-Day

Thursday – Wheels Down, Water Views

  • 7 p.m. – Land at SEA; Link Light Rail ➜ University Street Station.
  • 8 p.m. – Dinner at Six Seven Restaurant (Edgewater Hotel): seafood + sunset over Elliott Bay.
  • 10 p.m. – Nightcap at Zig Zag Café—order a Last Word and thank me later.

Friday – Classic Sights, Off-Script Bites

Iconic Public Market Center neon sign at Pike Place Market
If you didn’t selfie at this sign, did you even visit?

  • 9 a.m. – Wander Pike Place Market. Grab chowder at Jack’s Fish Spot, then a vacation beer from the hidden Mexican joint behind it.
  • 10:30 a.m.Underground Tour in Pioneer Square (book online).

Mid-day

Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Seattle with copper coffee roasting machinery and visitors sipping drinks
Because the regular Pike Place store just won’t impress the bougie spouse.

Best $119 sightseeing upgrade you’ll spend all weekend.

Afternoon → Night Crawl

  • 3:30 p.m. – Monorail to Space Needle + Chihuly Garden.
  • Optional: Seattle Aquarium or MoPOP if rain ambushes Friday.
Seattle’s Canon bar with its floor-to-ceiling whiskey bottle display and dim speakeasy lighting Title: Canon – The Whiskey Library
If heaven has shelves, they probably look like this.

Saturday – Double Header

Pre-game carbs before an eight-hour cocktail sprint.
  • 10 a.m. – Brunch at Tilikum Place Café (Dutch babies).
  • Noon – Chill, merch shopping, maybe a nap.
Night game panorama of T-Mobile Park during Seattle Mariners matchup
Garlic-fries aroma not included—sorry.
  • 3 p.m. – Walk to T-Mobile Park, Pen-Court IPAs + garlic fries.
  • 4:15 p.m.Mariners vs. Twins first pitch.
  • 7:30 p.m. – Quick change + walk 15 min to WAMU Theater.
  • 8 p.m.Big Bootie Mix 26 live premiere (doors 7).
  • Midnight – Debate the after-party; future-you will judge.

Sunday – Departure Mode

  • Sleep in; checkout by 11 a.m.
  • Carb-reload at Biscuit Bitch or back to Six Seven if you missed it.
  • Link Light Rail to the airport for a 2 p.m. flight home.

That’s the game plan—48+ hours of skyline views, ballpark brews, and bass drops & lasers. Follow the itinerary verbatim, remix it with your own stops, or just use it to justify that Kenmore seaplane splurge to your spouse. Either way, drop a comment if you’ve got better bar intel or a favorite seat the ballpark. See you under the lasers for Big Bootie Mix 26—memories guaranteed.
